Cartwright

Cartwright is Client Ad & Revenue Tracking System — order to air to as-run. Advertisers, contracts, the spot library, log generation, delivery to the on-air PC, reconciliation. A sales side was added on top: companies, contacts, leads, a deal pipeline, tasks and dated notes, which replaced a separate CRM subscription outright.

It exists because the software Power88 was already paying for exported a traffic log every day for years that StationPlaylist never once imported. The cause was visible in a single line of the export: Creator’s Traffic Importer reads fixed character positions, and the Track ID field landed in the middle of a Windows file path. Every day the automation went looking for a cart called Users\mark.

Six faults in that one line, any one of which alone would have broken delivery — and two more that had nothing to do with the file at all. The traffic log was being written into a folder that did not exist on that machine, and the automation had no commercial break notes for a spot to merge into. Getting the format right would not have fixed either.

That is the whole thesis of Cartwright. The station that needs this software does not have an engineer to notice that a folder path is a leftover from somebody’s old laptop. It runs on-prem on Windows, one price, thirty-day trial, and the diagnostic that found all eight faults ships inside it.
